Very friendly English speaking staff at this subterranean restaurant two blocks from the Außenalster. An easy walk from our hotel on An der Alster, it was exactly the type of food we were looking for: schnitzel, bratkartoffeln, and some German wine.

Hidden treasure of a German restaurant, blink and you’ll miss it. Service was excellent and concise menu with a bit of humour really showcased traditional German cusine. Highlight Decor and service was best we had in hamburg Chocolate lava cake was very good.
